Jonathan Levin High School offers a variety of courses, activities, clubs and hands-on experience for you to acquire the fundamental skills necessary for a career in television, film, broadcasting, journalism, and/or radio.

You will learn how to:

  • Make and edit films and video
  • Write newspaper and magazine articles
  • Arrange newspaper layouts
  • Take and edit photographs
  • Perform, record and publish interviews
  • Speak to large groups of people
  • Make formal presentations
  • Utilize video and web editor programs like IMovie and FrontPage
  • Use sophisticated authoring and editing software like Final Cut Pro Avid DV, InDesign, Quark Express, Photoshop, Premier, GoLive, Acrobat, Audition, PageMaker, After Effects, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access
